This 1990 Moody 425 is a heavily-refit bluewater cruiser in good condition, for sale in Sainte-Anne, Martinique. Lived aboard and sailed by her owners for two years, this Moody 425 has had an exceptionally thorough recent refit. In October 2022 the decks were sandblasted and re-gelcoated, delamination and a soft rear chainplate area were addressed, the stern was rebuilt, and chainplates, compression post, and Awlgrip finish were renewed, along with a new headliner, fans, and 360-degree life netting. Cruising systems added include a Mantus 25kg anchor, a Rainman watermaker, a Ryobi generator, all-new Raymarine electronics, a stainless solar arch with 1,000W of solar, a six-battery Trojan T105 bank, a 3,000W inverter, a refreshed fridge system, and Starlink. In January 2023 the mast was pulled for all-new wiring, standing and running rigging, LED nav lighting, and a new VHF cable, antenna, and Windex. Both heads were fully remodeled, with a convection oven and ice machine added, and fresh bottom paint applied. The Thornycroft diesel shows around 3,700 hours.
