This 1978 J Boats J24 is a racer in excellent condition, now available in Branford CT, Connecticut. Peddler, hull 339, built in 1978 went through a full refit from 2018-2021 with the intention of never selling it, but we bought a 40 cruising boat, so I cant keep it. All hardware removed, decks fixed, Alwgrip topsides and deck sprayed in 2020. All hardware polished and serviced or replaced. Hull, keel, and rudder faired, barrier coated and painted with Petit Black Widow. Rebuilt mast with new sheaves, thru-bar spreader kit, new halyards and hardware. Sails are very good - North Main, Quantum Genoa, North Dacron Jib, Ullman Spinnaker, all bought pre-owned, but with only a few races on them. Several delivery or day sailing sails included. Raymarine ST1000 autopilot, dual axel (unregistered) trailer, and Tohatsu 3.5hp 4-stroke included. $6,900.00 She measures 24' LOA, 8.9' beam and 4' draft and features a fiberglass hull and fractional sloop rig.
